The 2027 BMW iX4 is the automaker’s latest Neue Klasse electric vehicle, joining the i3 and iX3. It will launch with two all-wheel-drive versions, the iX4 50 xDrive and performance-focused iX4 M60 xDrive, both using dual electric motors.
The iX4 50 produces 463 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, while the M60 delivers 603 hp and 645 lb-ft. The iX4 50 can travel up to 428 miles on a charge from its 112.2-kWh usable battery, while the M60 can hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reach 149 mph.
The iX4 will go on sale in March 2027, with the iX4 50 starting at $66,220 before destination. Both versions feature BMW’s latest interior technology, while the M60 adds adaptive M suspension, an electronically controlled M Sport differential, exclusive drive modes, and other performance upgrades.
