The Focus has only been around for a couple of decades, but already both of the first two generations of RS have pretty much already achieved classic status.

The latest offering will no doubt be the same, and with four-wheel-drive and more than 300bhp on tap it already presents a better option than any RS before it ever has.

A string of brightly-coloured special editions during the end of its run will no doubt become the most sought after. In fact, one orange Heritage Edition has already been spotted for sale online for £100,000.

The third-generation’s future classic status is assured, but with the history of Fast Fords, we could’ve told you that before it even went into production. Speaking of which, a new one is supposedly on the way…
