The Aston Martin DB11 is an absolute stunner, but X-Tomi Design has discovered a way to make it even more appealing by transforming the gorgeous coupe into a shooting brake while resisting the temptation of adding rear doors. The likelihood of happening in the real life is very slim, but in the words of Tupac Shakur, ‘no one can take away your dreams.’

If the folks from Gaydon will ever decide to come out with something along the lines of a DB11 Shooting Brake, it would be a worthy rival for Ferrari’s GTC4Lusso. McLaren is thinking about a four-seater model to take on the FF replacement, so maybe the all-wheel-drive prancing horse will have more competition to face in the future.

But Aston Martin has a lot on its plate right now, as it plans to rejuvenate its entire lineup in the years to come. In addition, it’s working on the implementation of AMG’s biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and at the same time it has a tie-up with Red Bull for the mesmerizing AM-RB 001 expected to have hybrid power. Moreover, the DBX concept will morph into a Wales-built production model in 2019, thus becoming the very first crossover from AM. On top of that, the Lagonda moniker is set to make a comeback for ultra-luxurious models, so you can imagine a DB11 Shooting Brake does not rank high on the company’s current list of priorities.
