It's a good day to be Richard Mattei of Paradise Valley, Arizona. His 1936 Lancia Astura Pininfarina Cabriolet was just named Best In Show at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and we have to say, this car sure is stunning.

This specific Astura was one of six similar vehicles built exclusively for an Italian Lancia dealer, each of which had unique features. Setting this particular Astura apart is a power roof and curved side glass, as well as a basket-woven interior and woodgrain instruments.

According to the Pebble Beach Concours, the car was discovered in bad condition in the 1960s before undergoing a complete restoration by Pininfarina. Following that, musician Eric Clapton bought it, saying it's "the most fun I've had offstage and out of bed." It was then sold back to Pininfarina before being purchased by its current owner.
