Japanese bodykitter Liberty Walk has become notorious for its widebody conversions on supercars like the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Aventador. But Liberty Walk doesn’t just produce its race car-inspired bodykits for mega-bucks motors; owners of more prosaic fare can shop there as well.

The latest addition to the catalogue is this outfit for the Audi A5 and S5. Liberty Walk describes it as “aggressively styled,” which may be under-selling the point a bit. Because it looks no less outrageous than the aforementioned Aventador

The ‘kit consists of front and side splitters, a rear diffuser and spoiler and, of course, those enormous fender extensions. It'll certainly make your A5 stand out from the crowd, if indeed it fits through the gate to get into the show. It’s wide, is what I’m saying. Really wide.

A choice of glass-reinforced plastic or carbon fiber-reinforced plastic is available; the latter is lighter but about 30 per cent more expensive. The splitters, diffuser and spoiler are available separately, but the fenders only come in a complete ‘kit. You can add AiREXX digital air suspension to the package, too, if you want to slam the car into the weeds.

According to Liberty Walk, the 'kit fits any A5 or S5 model and can be fitted by any competent bodyshop. It isn't currently listed for sale in the U.S., but it may be possible to import one from elsewhere in the world. UK prices are £6,530 ($8,456) for the GRP version and £8,460 ($10,956) for the CFRP version of the complete 'kit.

Liberty Walk's bodykits certainly aren't to everyone's taste - what do you make of this?
