After recently seeing a Lamborghini Centenario slowly cruising around the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, it’s finally time to see the Italian brand put the hypercar on the track. The company edited together some highlights of the first media test for the limited-edition model at the Nardo Technical Center in Italy. We would have liked to have seen a longer video, but the Centenario looked like a superstar on the circuit even in this brief clip.

The Centenario runs with a few other modern Lambos here, presumably to demonstrate to the amassed journalists why the new hypercar is so special. Without even driving it, the differences are obvious, though. The special model takes the looks of the Aventador and ratchets things up with a fully carbon fiber body. The active rear wing adds a special touch to the updated styling, too. As this clip briefly proves, the 6.5-liter V12 with 770 horsepower also makes a wonderful noise.

The only downside to this clip is that it’s so short. We could watch the Centenario lap Nardo all day, but this video is just over a minute long. The glimpse is long enough to see why the hypercar is already sold out, though. With a sublime combination of exclusivity and speed, the Centenario shouldn’t disappoint the 40 lucky owners.
