The tuning kit adds more aggressive, carbon-fiber exterior parts and increases power.
The Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4² doesn’t do anything subtle. The SUV has a massive 17.2-inches of ground clearance, and side-exit exhausts lets its 4.0-liter biturbo V8 bellow. Now Mansory’s tuning kit makes the high-riding G-Class even brasher by adding even more carbon fiber parts and a vibrant blue paintjob. The upgrades are an interesting fit for this luxury off-roader.
Mansory’s carbon-fiber front end makes the G500 4x4² hard to miss. The firm’s new hood includes a big scoop in the center, and the grille prominently shows the tuner’s emblem. The company also adds LED headlights with carbon-fiber bezels. Vents behind the front fenders use the lightweight material, too, and the kit uses it for much of the exterior trim, too. Mansory refers the power-extending steps in the package as the “stairway to heaven.”
Buyers might be embarrassed to purchase such an ostentatious body kit and not be able to back up the wild looks for more power. Mansory offers them the Powerbox that takes total output to 479 horsepower (357.2 kilowatts) and 524 pound-feet of torque (710.4 Newton-meters) – 63 hp (47 kW) and 74 lb-ft (100 Nm) more than stock.
Mansory moderately upgrades the interior by adding carbon-fiber trim on the steering wheel and the firm’s aluminum pedals. It also reupholsters the seats in a mix of leather and carbon fiber.
While Mansory’s G500 4x4² is certainly ostentatious, the luxury SUV should still excel off-road. These vehicles feature dual springs and dampers for each wheel and portal axles. Mercedes’ tweaks create a vehicle that can go nearly anywhere while keeping occupants very comfortable.

Stairway to heaven – MANSORY presents the Mercedes G500 4x42 clad in sky blue carbon fibre.
The Mercedes G500 4x42 is one the most noticeable vehicles on the roads, even in
its factory-standard version. The wide, flared wheel arches and imposing height of
this portentous off-roader will easily put other more watered-down SUVs in their
place. It was the ideal starting point for MANSORY, the car modifier and carbon fibre
specialist, to create an incomparable G-Class for their exclusive clientèle. Abundant
carbon, a top of the line interior and a substantial increase in performance makes
MANSORY’s 4x42 a striking off- and on-roader for discerning car enthusiasts.
Carbon fibre as far as the eye can see: a new front spoiler with prominent LED
headlights and new hood made from visible carbon fibre shape the nose of the
MANSORY 4x42. The flanks are adorned with air intakes on the front wheel arches,
mirror housings, handles and trim, which are also manufactured from visible carbon
fibre. Even from a bird’s eye view there is carbon aplenty on the roof and roof spoiler.
The rear apron and panels have been redesigned to accommodate lighting units as
the perfect way to round off the carbon cladding.
But it was not just the bodywork which MANSORY has overhauled: installing the new
MANSORY Powerbox combined with a sport exhaust system has given this 4x42 an
extra whack in the form of 47 kW (63 PS) as well as an 100 Nm increase in torque.
In the interior, MANSORY have created a command and control centre which
perfectly combines functionality and comfort. The sports steering wheel designed
especially for the 4x42 features a carbon inlay and the aluminium pedals guarantee
full control over the vehicle. At the same time, the interior oozes pure luxury - almost
all the interior furnishing components have been masterfully created by hand from
leather and cutting edge carbon fabric. The exclusive interior is topped off by logos,
decorative stitching and beading to match the colour of the vehicle.
A nifty feature of the MANSORY enhancements is a step which automatically
extends to help you climb into the cockpit, or as it is endearingly referred to by the
MANSORY team - the ‘stairway to heaven’.
