Carbon Motors has taken the wraps off a customized Mercedes G-Class which features a luxurious interior.
Since the company "declared war to all plastic elements," the dashboard, center console, and door panels have all been upholstered in black leather. The unique styling doesn't stop there as the company added carbon fiber trim, an Alcantara headliner, and diamond-quilted seats with red contrast stitching. Rounding out the interior changes are additional sound deadening material and an upgraded audio system with a JL subwoofer.
This particular model has also tuned by MD Commerce. The company declined to say what modifications were made but we can see LED headlights, a winch, and aftermarket wheels with off-road tires. The model also has a retuned suspension and an upgraded engine but there's no word on specifics.
Drivers who aren't keen on older versions of the Mercedes G-Class won't have to wait much longer as the company is working on a redesigned model which is slated to be unveiled sometime next year. Given the popularity of the current model, the next-generation G-Class will have a familiar design but its wheelbase is expected to grow by approximately four inches. Despite being larger, the model could weigh approximately 440 pounds less than its predecessor.

The Geländewagen by today's standards is a vehicle with strong personality. Developed in the end of the 1970s as a military vehicle by the order of the Shah of Iran, the G-class (or Geländewagen) is highly cherished by automotive enthusiasts ever since.
Carbon Motors dared to upgrade the interior of Mercedes G-class W463. Our team designed the new outlooks and handcrafted all the interior fit-out. Carbon Motors declared war to all plastic elements, and now all main elements - entire door covers, dashboard, central console are upholstered in black leather. Pillars and headliner are in black Alcantara.
Throughout the vehicle, a custom decorative stitch was handcrafted. The car was fitted with noise and vibro-isolation, as well as a 500 watt hi-fi sound system. The exterior works, suspension, and engine upgrade was performed by MD Commerce.
