A UFC fight broke out during the NASCAR Truck race at Gateway Saturday night.

John Wes Townley and Spencer Gallagher have never gotten along and tonight, things escalated into a physical altercation.

During the race, Gallagher got into the  back of Townley, sending him into the outside wall. The two found each other again in the final stages of the 160-lapper and both trucks ended up in the wall with race-ending damage.

The drivers then emerged from their mangled machines and immediately engaged in a two-man brawl. They tossed each other down the track before Townley got a few blows to the face in. A NASCAR official eventually broke them up and the red flag was displayed, stopping all trucks from circulating.

One or both could face penalties from NASCAR, but that would come later in the week.
