Mansory is at it again. This time with a massive GT3-like wing for the AMG GT S.

Mansory caters to a very specific market, car owners that like splashy designs and want to stand out from the crowd as much as possible. Case in point, the tuner's latest work involves a one-off Mercedes-AMG GT S which has received a rather opulent rear wing that would be more suitable for a GT3 race car. It’s a bit too much for our tastes, but as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Besides the massive carbon fiber wing, the AMG GT S also wears Mansory’s aggressive body kit which was originally unveiled a few months ago in Geneva. The one-off car depicted in the adjacent images comes with massive 21-inch wheels and a tricked-out cabin with red accents to match the body detailing.

The German tuner has made some extensive revisions to the biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine which now takes advantage of larger turbochargers and a sports air filter. There’s also a custom exhaust system which partially contributes to the enormous bump in output from the series 510 horsepower (375 kilowatts) to a whopping 730 hp (537 kW).

With the power pack implemented, the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) takes a mere 3.4 seconds, down by 0.4 seconds compared to the standard AMG GT S. If you’ll ask them nicely, Mansory will remove the 310-kph electronic limiter which will unlock a maximum velocity of 205 mph (330 kph).

If you would rather have something with more power than the S version straight from Mercedes-AMG, the spicy “R” version will be unveiled later this month at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. If that won’t be enough to quench your thirst for power, Mercedes-AMG will launch a Black Series version in the years to come.

MANSORY presents a one-of-a-kind upgrade of the Mercedes-AMG GT S

Just shortly after the MANSORY world premiere of the sensational wide bodywork version of the AMG GT S at the Geneva Motor Show, the renowned vehicle refinement specialists have dug deep once again and are presenting a new development produced as a one-off model.

The MANSORY designers have paid special attention to the rear of the Gran Turismo, giving it a much more striking look: the powerful rear wing alone is an impressive testament to the urge – and ability – to take corners at race speeds. The remodelled rear spoiler with integrated diffuser provides amble support with added downforce and is perfectly in keeping with the existing, masculine wide bodywork design. But it is not only the shape of the individual parts that has been specially reworked by the refinement house. Specifically for this model, MANSORY uses a special process to paint all visible carbon fibre parts in ruby red to fulfil the colour preference expressed by its owner, Bandar.

And the engine, too, has been optimised to meet the customer’s desires: The main components of performance optimisation are larger turbochargers as well as a sport exhaust system made from stainless steel. When combined with a sports air filter, this is responsible for the powerful, robust sound of the 4.0-litre aggregate. These components are precisely tuned to work in union using a new mapping system for the engine’s electronics. With a peak performance of 730 PS / 537 kW, the MANSORY engine exactly meets the wishes of its clientèle who have sporting ambitions. The uprated Gran Turismo offers exquisite performance figures: The two-seater only requires 3.4 seconds to go from 0 - 100 km/h and with a top speed of 330 km/h, even the basic model of the MANSORY refined GT S is streets ahead.

Another highlight of the refinements is the central lock lightweight wheel featuring the name “7spoke”. At the front, the recommended wheel-tyre combination is 9.5x21 inches with tyres featuring the dimensions 245/35ZR21. At the rear, 10.5x21 large rims with a tyre size of 305/25ZR21 are put to use. The wheel-tyre combination and chassis springs help lower the sports car to leave a lasting impression.

In the interior, MANSORY has created a control centre to unify functionality and comfort. The sports steering wheel designed especially for the Mercedes AMG GT S features a carbon inlay and the aluminium pedals guarantee full control over the vehicle. The interior simultaneously exudes pure luxury. Almost all interior furnishing components have been masterfully created by hand from leather and top-quality MANSORY carbon fabric. Precisely embroidered logos and illuminated door sills perfectly round off the refinement programme.
