With production of the hybrid sports coupe coming to an end later this year, Honda has decided to sing the CR-Z’s swan song with a Final Label dressed in Blue Metallic paint. Alternatively, clients can go for a Premium White Pearl or a Premium Yellow Pearl look and can also pick from a two-tone yellow/black or blue/black finish. Regardless of body color, all cars ride on 17-inch alloy wheels featuring a bi-color appearance to make it feel like you’re buying a special car.

Honda Japan has also made a few changes inside where the predominately black cabin has special badging on the center console and “Final Label” embroidered on the seats. The last hurrah for the CR-Z can be had with either a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional continuously variable transmission (CVT).

There aren’t any mechanical changes, so the hybridized coupe is powered by the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine working together with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The hardware delivers a combined output of 130 horsepower (97 kilowatts) and 140 pound-feet (190 newton meters) of torque if you go for the manual, whereas the CVT-equipped model has 127 lb-ft (172 Nm).

Available starting today in Japan, the Honda CR-Z Final Label costs 2.8 million yen (about $26,222), regardless of gearbox choice.

There was a rumor more than a year ago indicating Honda has plans for a second-gen CR-Z due in 2017 and based on the latest Civic, but we wouldn’t hold our breath.
