When he’s not trashing around some high-performance Fords for those spectacular Gymkhana videos, it seems Ken Block likes to customize more humble models. His first signature Ford product is a tricked-out Transit van which he modified with help from U.K.-based M-Sport. The van has received a sinister all-black appearance and a more aggressive body kit matched with some beefy OZ alloy wheels.
While details about the customization program have not been published, the modified Transit does look a lot like the version prepared by Van-Sport, a company created by M-Sport, Edward Davies Commercials, and Carlex Design. It has virtually the same body kit with more aggressive front and rear bumpers, extended side skirts, prominent wheel arches, and 18-inch OZ rims.
Van-Sport has a ton of accessories tailored to Ford’s workhorse, ranging from a side arch extension pack and quad exhaust tip to a set of Eibach lowering springs and a rear diffuser. It also offers numerous possibilities to customize the interior cabin by providing a sports steering wheel, white instrument cluster dials, Nappa leather-wrapped seats, and a mat pack.
Ken Block’s version probably has a few extra goodies to set it apart from Van-Sport’s version, but we’ll just have to wait for more details and pics.
