Turo Now Lets You Rent A Tesla With Full Self-Driving
Starting October 28, Turo guests in the US can book Tesla rentals with verified Full Self-Driving access.
Turo is making it easier to try Tesla's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) technology. Starting October 28, the car-sharing marketplace will let US customers search for and book Tesla vehicles with verified FSD (Supervised) status.
The platform uses a direct API integration with Tesla to verify that the system is activated, with confirmation displayed on eligible rental listings. Turo says thousands of Teslas equipped with FSD are already available on its platform.

The new integration also gives Tesla owners who rent out their cars another way to promote their vehicles. Once a host links their Tesla account to Turo, the platform automatically verifies FSD (Supervised) status and displays it on eligible listings.
Eligible US hosts can also receive a free one-month trial of FSD (Supervised). Tesla's Model 3 and Model Y already rank as the third- and fourth-most popular models on Turo so far this year, giving the new feature an established audience.
Turo CEO Andre Haddad says the integration will help more travelers go from being curious about driver-assistance technology to trying it for themselves.
'This industry-first integration with Tesla is another example of how Turo is redefining what car rental and access can look like. Most travelers have had limited opportunity to experience driver-assistance technology, but the demand is clear.'
According to Turo's research, 55 percent of Americans are interested in driverless technology for travel, rising to 71 percent among Gen Z. The company's 2026 Road Report also found that more than one-fifth of Americans interested in the technology would be comfortable spending seven or more hours in a self-driving car.
Of course, Tesla's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system isn't fully autonomous. Drivers must remain attentive and be ready to take control at all times.

A Different Kind Of Rental Experience
The FSD integration is part of a broader effort by Turo to set itself apart from traditional rental companies. The marketplace recently announced Turo Delivered, which will get a redesigned search and discovery experience later this year. The update will let customers choose when and where their rental car is delivered.
The company also reported record performance in the first half of 2026. Turo says it's on track to reach $3.3 billion in gross booking value and $1.2 billion in revenue for the full year, while projecting record adjusted EBITDA for a fifth consecutive year of profitability.
In the second quarter, booked days increased 19 percent year over year, while global revenue rose 17 percent. Hosts earned an average of 23 percent more than they did during the same period in 2025, making it the strongest quarter yet for host earnings, according to Turo.
For travelers curious about Tesla's driver-assistance technology, the new integration offers another way to try it without buying a car. And for Tesla owners, verified FSD status could give their listings another selling point.
