Ferrari's Controversial EV Gets A Wild Aftermarket Makeover
Vossen Wheels takes on the Ferrari Luce with new wheels and a rear wing.
- Vossen gives the Ferrari Luce a radical new look with its G2-13T wheels.
- The electric Ferrari is dramatically lowered and fitted with aggressive aerodynamic upgrades.
- A large fixed rear wing gives the Luce a much more extreme, track-inspired appearance.
The Ferrari Luce has stirred plenty of debate, both for a look that is far removed from Maranello’s traditional design language and for its electric powertrain. It is a very noisy revolution that still divides enthusiasts today: some defend it, while others simply cannot get past the styling created by someone who, until a few years ago, was designing iPhones, among other things.
Now comes the first tuning take on the Ferrari Luce, at least for now only in render form, signed by Vossen Wheels. Nothing too extreme here, with the wheels taking center stage alongside a few other new details.
New Wheels Take Center Stage
People often say wheels make the car, and Vossen has fitted the Ferrari Luce with a set of G2-13T wheels. These are ultra-lightweight forged wheels with a look similar to the aerodynamic wheels available in the Ferrari configurator. The size has not been disclosed, but they appear to be 22-inch wheels.
What is impossible to miss is the lowered stance. With so little clearance between the wheel arches and tires, it looks like there's barely room for a thin sheet of paper.
At the back, there is also a not-so-subtle rear wing, which is just enough to give the Ferrari Luce a more aggressive edge and, presumably, increased downforce.
As noted, this is only a render and not an actual build, not least because that suspension setup would make the Ferrari Luce practically unusable. Still, if someone is planning to buy the Prancing Horse’s first EV, they might have enough left over for the roughly €8,000 ($9,300) needed to ship a set of Vossen G2-13T wheels.
Motor1's Take: Vossen’s interpretation shows how dramatically the controversial Ferrari Luce can be transformed with a few aftermarket touches. The aggressive stance and aero upgrades certainly add character, although the ultra-low ride height and huge wing make this more of a visual exercise than a practical street setup.
