Jaguar Classic, the official classic division of JLR, is set to make an exciting return to Monterey Car Week 2023, showcasing its new C-type and D-type Continuations. Marking the first appearance since 2018, the brand and its two vehicles will be in attendance at The Quail and the Rolex Motorsports Reunion, which have already impressed clients and enthusiasts in the UAE, Japan, and Switzerland.

Starting 16th of August, three vehicles, including the C-type and D-type Continuations, will be displayed  at Laguna Seca during the Rolex Motorsports Reunion. On 18 August, these Continuations will be presented at The Quail, an exclusive gathering of the world's finest automobiles, where a 1956 Jaguar D-type won Best of Show in 2022.

Built with over 3,000 hours of expert craftsmanship, these limited editions embody Jaguar's passion, skill, and commitment to authenticity. The C-type Continuation revealed in 2021, celebrates the iconic car's landmark victories with a 3.4-litre straight-six engine producing 220 bhp, limited to just sixteen examples.

These Continuations have been engineered using 3D CAD and original period source data, ensuring absolute authenticity. Sixty-four years after the original D-type's debut, Jaguar Classic resumed production, crafting 25 exclusive vehicles to the authentic specification.

With the ability to choose between 1955-spec Shortnose or 1956-spec Longnose bodywork, clients are guaranteed accurate reproductions thanks to Jaguar Classic's access to original production drawings. The presentations at Monterey Car Week are a testament to Jaguar Classic's dedication to preserving and honouring its legacy.
