Every parent jokes about being a taxi driver for their children, in fact, 66 percent of parents reportedly feel that way.
Well, Skoda has taken that idea a bit further by launching a smartphone app, which lets them charge their children for ferrying them around. The charge, of course, isn't a monetary one, but it does allow kids to pay back by doing chores.

The Skoda Parent Taxi app has been launched after the Czech manufacturer found that Britain’s parents drive approximately 1,648 additional miles a year driving their children around to things like friends’ houses and sports clubs. If those miles were to be charged at the same rate as a London taxi, it would cost the kids a mind-boggling £12,565.

The app is available to for free on iOS and Android and acts like a real taxi meter, by tracking car movements by GPS and charging children with cleaning the car, feeding the family pet, tidying their bedroom, and doing the washing up as opposed to a monetary fee.
