Land Rover has introduced new dog-friendly accessories for its vehicles in a bid to woo owners’ four-legged friends.
According to the British 4x4 manufacturer, around half its customers are dog owners, and the brand hopes its new offerings will help keep the canines content with their cars.

Each of the ‘Pet Packs’ includes a range of accessories designed to suit different dogs and their owners. The £482 Pet Load Space Protection Pack, for example, includes a quilted load space liner, full-height luggage partition and a spill-resistant water bowl.
The slightly cheaper Pet Transportation Pack, meanwhile, comes in at £360.37 and includes a rubber load space mat, a foldable pet carrier, and the water bowl.
But the daddy of them all is the Pet Care and Access Pack, which incorporates the quilted load space liner and full-height luggage partition, as well as a pet access ramp and a portable rinse system complete with a 6.5-litre water supply and five spray settings – all for the princely sum of £887.56.
However, if you don’t want to spend that much, Land Rover is offering all the items individually.
Finbar McFall, Land Rover’s product marketing director said: “Land Rover is all about enjoying the great outdoors and that goes hand-in-hand with dog ownership for many customers.
“Our customers told us that the comfort of their dogs on car journeys is crucial. They are part of the family and we recognise that. Our new Pet Packs will allow dogs to travel in real comfort and make journeys simpler and more relaxing for animals and at the same time protect the inside of owners’ vehicles.”
