The Mexican supercar is part of the game's latest DLC.
The Forza Motorsport video game series has come under fire quite a bit for its downloadable content, which more often than not is filled with classics and off-road vehicles really not suited to a game that sells itself on its 'motorsport' pedigree.
So petrolheads and gamers alike will be pleased with what's in Forza Motorsport 7's latest DLC pack, the Top Gear Car Pack. Alongside the likes of the Ferrari 812 Superfast and McLaren 720S is a proper track toy in the form of Mexico's Vuhl 05RR.
The car, powered by a 2.3-litre Ford EcoBoost engine paired with a 6-speed sequential gearbox, has a power-to-weight ratio of over 600 bhp/tonne and is good of 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds. It has been faithfully and realistically recreated in the game, with every inch of the car's ultra-lightweight carbon fibre and aluminium structure able to be explored, while the car's unique chassis response, as well as handling and engine characteristics have also been recreated int he game.
"We have been quietly evolving, improving and developing the Vuhl 05 behind the scenes. The production-ready ‘RR’ is the result of this extensive work," said Iker Echeverria, Vuhl Technical Director. "We have beaten all of our rivals at various track demonstrations with our latest iteration, and we really want to share this remarkable lightweight driving experience with the world. This is where Forza Motorsport comes in, gamers have no excuse not to try the new Vuhl. I hope it is enjoyed as much as we loved working on the development of the car!"
