Brabus has revealed its customised take on the Mercedes X-Class – it’s got a beefed-up engine, fancy bodykit and some imposing roof-mounted LED lights for added Jurassic Park style.
The new truck is based on the X 250d model, and the German tuning firm has boosted output on the X-Class 2.3-litre diesel engine, adding 20bhp and 42lb ft of torque for some added performance.

With a new peak output of 208bhp at 3,500 rpm and a torque of 376lb ft on tap between 1,500 and 2,500rpm, the pickup accelerates from rest to 62mph in a perky 11.5 seconds.
Brabus is pushing the in-gear torque of the performance-oriented truck, though – rather than a an outright sports car, the new X-rated Brabus is being pitched as a quick, practical, everyday option.
Options for the Brabus X-Class’s upgraded interior start with ‘attractive’ details such as stainless steel scuff plates and sporty aluminium accoutrements such as pedals and footrest.
Brabus says that personal requests from all customers can be met in the company upholstery shop, which will come up with an exclusive Brabus fine leather interior in any desired colour and using ‘huge number’ of different upholstery designs.
The one-piece Brabus Monoblock 20-inch wheels are 9Jx20s shod with 285/45 R 20 high-performance tyres supplied by your choice from Brabus technology partners Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama.
Prices for the new Brabus X-Class haven’t yet been announced, but we’re sure you could give Brabus a call if you really wanted one of the new trucks and the company would happily take some cash off you.
