Free fuel for everyone!
Vauxhall is trying to entice customers back into its showrooms by offering free fuel with new cars.
All new cars bought between Friday 11 and Monday 14 May will come with a free fuel card worth £500. The deal comes as part of Vauxhall's 'help to buy' scheme, which also includes a host of zero percent APR personal contract purchase (PCP) deals, including one for the Corsa Energy, which is available from £150 a month.
Zero percent finance deals are also available on the Mokka X, Crossland X and Grandland X SUVs, while the Astra SRI family hatchback can also be purchased with zero percent finance from £180 a month.
'It has never been a better time to buy a new Vauxhall, thanks to help to buy,' said Leon Caruso, Vauxhall’s head of retail sales. 'Whether you are looking for the smaller Corsa, or an SUV for you and the family, there is a great zero percent APR offer available. And with the added bonus of the £500 fuel card, it is even easier to get on the road in a new Vauxhall.'
The company's latest finance deal comes after it announced it was to end all of its agreements with dealers as part of a huge reshuffle, which is the company's first refranchising effort since 2013.
Two years' notice will be given to dealers on 30 April, meaning that all contracts the company has with its dealership network will be ended by 30 April 2020. Despite the seemingly drastic move, Vauxhall at least is expected to retain most of its franchised dealers. The company currently has 93 different retailers operating at 326 locations across the country.
