Land Rover is welcoming in the Year of the Dog with a host of pet-friendly options for the cars in its range.

The packs protect the boot from wet paws and fur with a rubber mat or liner tray. Both offer waterproof protection, but the mat covers the carpet on the load space floor, while the liner tray has a raised lip on three sides to cover the floor and side wall carpets too. A full height partition can be also be fitted to protect the passenger seats while also keeping the pet safe. The partition has a secondary purpose of being able to split the load space into two parts.

It's not just the pet packs that make Land Rovers more dog-friendly. The Rear Height Adjust on the Land Rover Discovery electronically raises the car's air suspension making it easier for smaller or older dogs to climb into the back.

Land Rover recently launched a campaign introducing ‘Landy’ and ‘Rover’, which were created following research into the proportion of Land Rover customers who are pet lovers or owners. Landy and Rover have been showcasing Land Rover's range of accessories available for dogs and transporting them more comfortably and safely.

Made in partnership with Barbour, the two have always been a great match when it comes to clothing and accessories. The range features the unique Barbour for Land Rover tartan and includes everything required for a dog walk in the country. It is made in the UK from real leather, and the range also features a strong and durable dog lead, leather-lined collar, a functional harness, and coordinating water-resistant, quilted, wax jacket.
