Ever wanted to own a spotless, rare classic Ferrari? Well now's your chance.

A perfect 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series 1 is coming up for auction at the Silverstone Auctions Race Retro classic car sale. It's one of just 44 UK right-hand-drive examples ever built and is expected to fetch between £160,000 and £190,000 at the auction at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire on the weekend of 24 and 25 February 2018.

Chassis #6875 is painted in Grigio Argento – its original colour –  and is complete with the optional wire wheels, power-operated windows and Pelle Nera Franzi leather interior specified by the original owner. The 1965 Pininfarina-penned design was the fastest road-legal Ferrari back in its day thanks to a 300bhp V12. The 0-62mph run was handled in just 6.3 seconds. Not bad for a 53-year-old car.

The seller has owned the car for a decade, and it's been treated to a full overhaul, including a respray, cylinder head and gearbox rebuild, and a bodywork refresh that included replacing the sills and floor panels.
