There are new versions of both the Custom and Connect minibuses.
Ford has revealed facelifted versions of its Tourneo range of people movers at the Brussels motor show this week. Adapted from the Blue Oval's range of commercial vans, the Tourneo Custom and Tourneo Connect are based on the Transit Custom, Ford's small van, and the Transit Connect, Ford's even smaller van.
The pair of versatile and spacious new Tourneo models have been unveiled for the European market, offering both interior and exterior styling changed, plus advanced powertrains.
The eight/nine-seat Tourneo Custom, which tops the range, features what Ford calls a 'bold' new front end design, and offers an all-new refreshed cabin interior that features unique-in-segment rear seating with six individual seats that can be arranged in conference format, for those important meetings on the go.

The smaller Transit Connect-based Tourneo Connect comes in five or seven-seat configuration, and it introduces new fuel-efficient powertrains, including the all-new 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel engine with eight-speed automatic transmission option, and Ford’s 1‑litre EcoBoost petrol engine which features cylinder deactivation. The manual vehicles in the range come with six-speed transmissions as standard.
'Our fresh new range of Tourneo vehicles shows that versatile people movers can be dynamic and stylish,' said Hans Schep, general manager, CV and Tourneo family, Ford of Europe. 'With superior space, flexibility and technologies like SYNC 3 connectivity, the three Tourneos help our customers get the most from their busy and active lifestyles.'
