HR Owen Ferrari in London is celebrating its official recognition as being one of just 48 official dealers christened as 'Ferrari Classiche Authorised Workshops' – or 'Officina' (Italian for workshop).
The recognition means that the service centre in North London can service, maintain and restore classic Ferraris older than 20 years with factory approval.
HR Owen boasts a massive 2,044m2 of dedicated Ferrari space, with 22 ramps and 15 specialist technicians. Three of those ramps are devoted to working on classic Ferraris and the company already has over £500,000 worth of Ferrari genuine parts in stock to assist with restorations.
'It gives us great pleasure to be accredited as a Classiche Officina and further enhance our already excellent reputation in the classic car world,' said Owen Rothwell, HR Owen Ferrari marketing manager. 'Being able to have the direct support of the Classiche department in Maranello means that we can continue to offer exemplary classic Ferrari servicing with the ultimate seal of approval from Italy. We’re excited to put our new strategy into practice and continue to give our customers the level of care they expect from both HR Owen and Ferrari.'
Each of the other 47 Ferrari Classiche Officina are spread across 20 different countries and have the direct support of the Ferrari Classiche department in Maranello, and has a suitably-qualified and trained Ferrari Classiche service technician on hand.
Ferrari's Classiche division was set up back in 2006, and as well as providing official support for owners of classic Ferraris, it also issues certificates of authenticity for cars that have been maintained to the high standards of the Italian supercar maker and have confirmed histories going back to when they first rolled out of the gates at Maranello.
