Hyundai has announced the pricing and specs for the new i30 Fastback, which will go on sale next month, priced from £20,305.
The i30 Fastback a coupe variant of the i30, with a wide stance and lowered roofline that leads to a nifty rear spoiler and the rear lights.
It's available in three trim levels that mirror the existing i30 models – SE Nav, Premium and Premium SE. The 1.0 T-GDi and 1.4 T-GDi petrol engines also remain from the rest of the range, with a new 1.0 T-GDi making its debut on the Premium and Premium SE trim levels. Six-speed manuals are standard across the range, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission also on offer.
A comprehensive equipment is offered from the base SE Nav model, including integrated satellite navigation with 8-inch LCD touchscreen, incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth with voice recognition and wireless phone charging on compatible handsets, rear parking assist system, rear view camera. Cloth seats are standard, with both drivers and passenger’s seats height-adjustable and with additional electric lumbar adjustment to the driver’s side. A leather steering wheel is standard, plus there's a new 17-inch alloy wheel design.

Drivers of the Premium-spec i30 Fastback also gain from the addition of electrically adjustable seats, front and rear parking assist system, LED front headlights and rear combination lights, while the Premium SE adds a panoramic sunroof, leather seat facings and a heated steering wheel.
There's also a high level of standard safety equipment, as seen on the rest of the i30 family, with Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Collision Warning System, Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Hill Start Assist Control featuring on all models. There are also Blind Spot Detection System and Rear Cross Traffic Alert that are standard equipment on Premium and Premium SE models.
Eight colours are available; Engine Red and Polar White are no cost solid paint options, with metallic paint options of Ara Blue, Fiery Red and Micron Grey. For an additional £585, you can get Phantom Black, Platinum Silver and Stargazing Blue pearl paint. Oceanids Black is the standard interior colour across the range, while Slate Grey is a no-cost option on the Premium SE.

As with all Hyundais, the i30 Fastback comes with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, five-year roadside assistance package, five-year annual health check, and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty.
