Skoda adds new Sportline model to Kodiaq range

Following its unveiling at the Geneva motor show at the start of the year, Skoda has revealed prices and specs for the Kodiaq Sportline model – the latest edition to the Czech manufacturer's award-winning SUV lineup.

The Kodiaq Sportline is positioned between the SE L and Edition models, and combines the practicality of an SUV, with a host of sporty touches, and features an enhanced design that includes 20-inch Vega Anthracite alloy wheels, deeper front and rear sport bumpers. There are also a few black details – such as the radiator grille, roof rails, door mirror housings and side window trims.

Inside, there's a leather sports steering wheel, carbon effect dashboard and door inserts, along with Alcantara-trimmed sports bucket seats and door panels. plus an LED interior lighting pack, SportLine plaque and black trim complete the interior design package.

Four engines are on offer; two petrol and two diesel, with power outputs between 148bhp to 187bhp. All engines come matched up with a four-wheel-drive system as standard, while the 2-litre engines come with a DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission as standard. The DSG is also available as an option on the other engine choices.

The Kodiaq SportLine comes generously equipped, being based on the well-equipped SE L trim. The car has seven seats, plus a Columbus infotainment system with 9.2-inch touchscreen display and integrated wifi, electrically operated boot and drive mode select. There's also a multifunction trip computer with colour display, front parking sensors and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat.

The Kodiaq Sportline is available to order now, with first deliveries of the new SUV model expected in February 2018. Prices will start from £32,685.
