What do you get the person who has everything? A unique opportunity to experience some special British sports cars in a stunning landscape would seem appropriate. Following news of the company's latest dealership opening in Japan – set to be its biggest selling in the world – Aston Martin has revealed details of a special ice driving programme for customers in the area.

Hokkaido On Ice is Aston Martin's first programme of its kind in the Japanese market and follows similar events that have taken place in Europe and North America. It offers a unique opportunity to drive Aston Martin's range of models on ice against the stunning backdrops of Hokkaido, Japan's most northerly island that's filled with dramatic scenery – it has a volcano, ski resorts and a stunning national park.

The driving programme offers expert tuition from professional driving instructors, allowing drivers to experience first-hand the level of handling, performance and near-perfect weight distribution of the company's sports cars.

The programme, which runs from 8-12 February 2018, will also put guests up in luxurious accommodation in the east of Hokkaido, with private open-air Onsen baths as well as the choice of either traditional Japanese or Western-style beds (they're basically the same, except the Western one has legs).

'Our Hokkaido On Ice programme places guests at the heart of one of the most stunning locations in the world, and behind the wheel of equally beautiful cars,' said Patrik Nilsson, president of Aston Martin Asia Pacific. 'We strive to create unforgettable experiences through our Art of Living programme, and Hokkaido On Ice is perhaps the ultimate illustration of this.'

Places are filling up fast, so if you want to take part in this cool experience, you better hurry up...
