Taiwanese Playstation users now have the ultimate way to enjoy the new Gran Turismo Sport game – for just over £35,000 there's a new gaming package available in the country that includes a brand-new customised Mazda MX-5.
The Gran Turismo Sport Super Bundle has everything you would need to play the game. It includes a PS4 Pro, Playstation VR Goggles, a 12-month subscription to the PS Plus online service and a 65-inch Sony Bravia 4K OLED television. It also comes with a Thrustmaster T-GT steering wheel and pedals. They mount to an Apiga AP1 sim racing seat.
The custom 2018 MX-5 is painted in Soul Red body, and has orange and silver stripes run over the bonnet and lower portion of the trunk. A stylised Gran Turismo logo decorates the side of the car, and there are smaller emblems for the game on the bumpers, bonnet and boot lid.

According to reports, one car collector has already purchased the unique bundle. There’s no indication that the Sony division in Taiwan intends to offer more of them.
Assuming you want everything in the Super Bundle, a UK customer could assemble it for quite a bit cheaper than the version available in Taiwan. Starting from the gaming side, Gran Turismo Sport alone is around £44.99, and a year of Playstation Plus is an additional £39.99. A Playstation 4 Pro costs at least £339.99 and the company’s VR rig goes for £349.99. The 65-inch TV carries a price of £3,999. For playing it, the Thrustmaster T-GT is £699.99, and the Apiga AP1 costs £360.50.
Playstation doesn’t offer details about the trim package on the MX-5 in the Super Bundle, but assuming this is a base Sport model, it would cost around £22,040. This puts the combined items at a price of £27,874.45 in the UK – careful shopping for deals could take the figure even lower.
