Supermini-based van gets black alloys and racing stripes
Vauxhall has launched a special edition of its supermini-based Corsavan that adds a sporting aesthetic to the commercial vehicle.
The top-of-the-range Limited Edition Nav model features go-faster stripes on the bonnet, roof and boot, as well as 16-inch black alloy wheels and a dark grille bar.
The Persian Blue paint is also exclusive to the newcomer, which will cost £15,515 plus VAT.
For that money, customers get a 7-inch Navi 4.0 IntelliLink touchscreen infotainment system, which includes a digital radio, satellite navigation and traffic alerts.
Phone connectivity is taken care of via Bluetooth and USB, which can connect a driver’s phone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
This comes in addition to features seen on the previously range-topping Corsavan Sportive, which comes with air conditioning, sports seats, heated windscreen, automatic lights and wipers, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
Cruise control is also included, along with electrically adjustable door mirrors, front fog lights and ambient interior lighting.
Power comes from a 1.3-litre diesel engine with 94bhp and a six-speed manual gearbox. Capable of 74.3mpg, the engine uses stop-start technology and emits 101g/km CO2.
The new model sits above the existing Corsavan and Corsavan Sportive trim levels, which start from £10,995 plus VAT.
‘This stylish new Corsavan will appeal to operators who want a small car-derived van that stands out from the crowd,' said Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s head of commercial vehicles. 'It’s exceptionally well-equipped for its size.'
