Mercedes-AMG has revealed special new Exclusive Editions of the range-topping G 63 and G 65 G-Class SUVs.

Priced at £145,000 for the G 63 Exclusive Edition and £255,000 for the G 65 Exclusive Edition, both sport a striking appearance that makes liberal of plenty of stainless steel, AMG racing stripes, dark aluminium protective strips along the doors, and for the first time as a special treat for G-Wagen fans a spare wheel cover painted in the same colour as the car.

Both cars also feature 295/40 R 21 tyres that wrap around fancy new AMG alloy wheels. The G 63 is equipped with matte black wheels, while the G 65 features ceramically polished alloys in a distinctive design

Customers will also have the option of either an AMG carbonfibre or black lacquer trim interior. Other options include Designo Red seat belts, leather-trimmed grab handles in the headliner and a two-tone AMG Performance steering wheel matching the seat colours.

As with the standard G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG, the Exclusive Editions are powered by a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 and a 6-litre V12 respectively.

You'd better be quick if you want to own one of these classic machines new – the G-Class is all set to be replaced in 2018 with a newer model.
