The annual Ferrari Racing Days at Silverstone are perfect for hardcore fans. The prancing horse turns 70 this year and so 2017’s Racing Days have a few surprises in store.

Every year the Ferrari Race Days take place at Silverstone. It is a celebration of horsepower, motorsport and one of the worlds most recognisable brands, all packed into a weekend. However, the brands special Birthday this year means that it will be even more action packed.

Developmental XX program cars will be there testing new technologies for future road cars. The roster includes the Enzo based FXX Evo, 599XX and the LaFerrari derived FXX K. This will be the only chance for UK fans to see all of these rare XX cars on track at the same time this year.

More track action comes thanks to the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. This one-make series sees gentlemen drivers experience competitive racing. For 2017 the field is made up of the 458 Challenge and the brand-new 488 Challenge racing cars.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ferrari and their F1 Clienti will be bringing some historic Formula One cars to the party. The Clienti program allows Ferrari’s very best customers to buy ex-Grand Prix cars providing that it is over two years old — this constraint prevents rival F1 teams from acquiring current technology.

The 2017 Silverstone Ferrari Racing Days run from 23 - 24 September.
