Christmas could be here early, thanks to Kia's new Rio Pulse special edition supermini.
The Korean manufacturer has designed the car to sit between the ‘2’ and ‘3’ grades on the specification list (a 2.5, if you will), throwing in Clear White or Midnight Black paint with red accents for free.

Those flourishes in red extend to the roof and front vents, wing mirrors and along the side skirts, as well as black and red faux leather upholstery, red faux leather door inserts and metallic paint on the dashboard inside.
The Rio Pulse also gets 17-inch alloy wheels as standard, Bluetooth, 5-inch touchscreen with DAB radio and a raft of safety features including Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Cornering Brake Control, Straight-Line Stability and Hill Start Assist.

Powered by a 1.25-litre engine, the latest Kia is capable of up to 58.8mpg, with CO2 emissions of 109g/km. It accelerates from 0-60mph in 12.5 seconds and has a top speed of 107mph.
The Rio Pulse costs £14,595 on the road, and if you buy it before 30 September 2017 you’ll get a year’s free insurance from Kia.
