Want your Audi R8 or TT to perform even better? Audi Sport Performance Parts can be fitted to your car and range from brakes to body work.
Aero kits for both cars have been developed in Audi’s wind tunnel and include: aerodynamic flicks, front splitter, and a large rear wing. For the V10 powered R8, its new bodywork equates to over 100kg more downforce pushing the car into the ground. TT’s can also be treated to a vented bonnet to improve cooling. All of these parts are made from lightweight carbon fibre reinforced plastic.
Audi Sport enhancements can go deeper with two or three way coilover suspension and more fade resistant sport brake linings. Ideal upgrades for those who want to spend more time at the track. Motorsport derived milled 20-inch alloy wheels save up to 8kg and come with sticky sports tyres.
Remorseful TT RS customers who didn’t option the Dynamic Plus package, that enabled a higher top speed, can now also do 174mph by speccing more chassis reinforcement.
Specialist lightweight mufflers for a deeper exhaust note can be had on both cars. However, if you have a TT and want to save even more weight you can swap the rear seats for a brace to increase stiffness whilst saving 20kg.
Both the Audi R8 and TT can be optioned with a new alcantara trimmed steering wheel with red centre marking. Carbon fibre reinforced plastic paddle shifters for S tronic cars finish off the interior modifications.
Fitted by dealers, Audi Sport Performance Parts will initially be available in Germany from this summer. The Parts will be rolled out in other regions throughout the year for the R8 and TT.
Audi says more Sport Performance Parts for other models will be added gradually.
