The MoT results show that Japanese and German manufacturers dominate the top 4x4s and SUVs, with the Audi Q3 in pole position, scoring an impressive 92.11 percent pass rate.”

Casting his eye over the bottom 10, Hamilton, said: “The bottom 10 is a mixed bag with Toyota, BMW, Land Rover, Hyundai, Peugeot, Nissan and Fiat all making an appearance.

"However, it’s great to see that Range Rover has improved its pass rates, jumping from 82.2 percent to 83.57 percent over the last three years. With a reputation of being arguably one of the most luxurious SUVs on the market, the Range Rover offers unrivalled off-road ability with powerful engines and exquisite interiors.”
