Brabus SV12 S Biturbo Roadster
Another Brabus record breaker. The Brabus SV12 S Biturbo Roadster was the most powerful drop-top on the planet when it arrived in 2006.
Like other bespoke Brabus cars, it had to be restrained, such was extent of the modifications. A 730bhp twin-turbo V12 engine - 213bhp more than the factory Mercedes-Benz model - and an electronically limited top speed of 217 mph tells you all you need to know.
Brabus Tesla Roadster
The Brabus Tesla Roadster was the first collaboration between the tuning house and the Silicon Valley tech start up.
Performance parts were lacking, but there was a handful of cosmetic tweaks. Brabus also added the ‘space sound generator’, which gave the otherwise silent electric sports car a song to sing.
Brabus Bullit
Based on the already bonkers Mercedes-AMG C63, the Bullit does away with the standard 6.2-litre V8, instead swapping in a similarly-sized twin-turbo V12 churning out a staggering 720bhp.
The price was out of this world too – while the standard W204 C63 cost just a touch under £67,000, the Brabus Bullit will have set you back over 300 grand.
Brabus Mclaren Mercedes SLR
This car’s been passed around more than a newborn baby at a family gathering. Built by McLaren in England, it then had a German Mercedes powerplant put it, then Brabus got to work on it.
Brabus added a new differential with a 40 percent locking rate to improve traction and acceleration. It also improved the cooling system, and added new camshafts and sports exhausts. The end result was a power figure of 660bhp.
Brabus Mercedes-Benz Vaneo
Proof that Germans do have a sense of humour. As well as over-the-top muscle cars, supercars turned up to 11, and SUVs that have enough power to run a country, Brabus also tweaked Mercedes vans and MPVs.
A bit of Brabus madness that the whole family can enjoy.
Brabus Rocket
Arguably the most famous Brabus creation, the 720 Mercedes CLS-based car was the most powerful and fastest four-door saloon in the world when it was first shown in 2006, capable of a top speed of 225 mph.
There was even a police car version made to encourage car fanatics to modify their cars safely – a bit mad coming from a company that has to limit the torque output of its cars because they’re so over-the-top!
